By the time this is read good ole Tookie will be blue and bloated. Too bad.
See the problem isn't so much that he killed and then "rehabilitated" and shouldn't be killed. The problem is he started a gang that also murdered and is still murdering and for that he deserves to die as much as for the murders he committed. If that gang still exists after Tookie gets the final dose then all the rehabilitating he has done did nothing.

So he wrote some childrens books - I suspect he more told stories, sitting back with a grin on his murdering face and some writer put the stories into legible form. Tookie can't spell, if he could his name would be tooky, either that or he's a woman - which I'm sure that after 30 some years in prison he was made feminine at some point. And the kids that can read won't end up in gangs anyway, it seems obvious. The others probably won't spend the money on a book by Tookie, and if they do, after he has gone to the big Chic-N-Trout in the sky, then he will be a racial martyr and more gangs will be formed in his name and kill anyway.

I wouldn't want to be in his pants pissing shoes, but if I was, I wouldn't expect that a second chance should be given, more like a 20th chance, he did the murders in "79" and has been appealing ever since; the people he offed would be anywhere from 44 and up. And maybe one of them would have written books for people to read, not use as some lame ass excuse to deny the law he knew he was breaking in 1979. and of course people are screaming racism. (don't be scared, race is involved so it is racism)
Everybody knows that the racism then was different then racism today, maybe he should have used that at an appeal instead of rehabilitation.

Rehabilitation, nobody buys that garbage, Don't they show Shawshank Redemption in prison? Morgan Freeman, get it Tookie "Freeman" said all you needed to say - 'Rehabilitated that's just a made up word so people like you will have a job sonny......I look back at that stupid kid and I want to talk some sense into him.....'
