Bush takes blame for flaws in Katrina response - Hurricane Katrina - MSNBC.com

Here we go again.
Now we are going to get pumped full of fear about preparation for terror attacks.
I do find some solace in the fact that Bush is taking responsibility; that means that everyone that voted for him is, in part, responsible for his misgivings.
Of course no one wants to admit a mistake like voting for Bush, so people will begin to back peddle by saying things like "No one could see a disaster like this happening" Wrong! That is his job, service and protection to and of the country. The oath:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

On its face he only has to defend and protect hte constitution, that doesn't mean sleep with it under his pillow so Bin Laden can't get to it. It means the items enumerated in the constitution must be protected. Of course he does have the out of 'the best of my ability'

Here is a Bush quote from the article:
“I can do more than one thing at one time,”

Get outta here! Really!
Is he applying for a job? Who is he trying to convince? I guess the people that voted for him or his parents. Maybe even himself.

Suck it up.
